Explainer Shorts

355 days in space, in two Shorts

A 20-minute astronaut Q&A cut into two stat-driven explainer Shorts

The brief

Turn a long, calm Q&A into Shorts that teach something in under a minute and make the numbers stick.

What I did

Picked the two strongest threads (the record flight and how he kept his head straight), reframed for vertical with punch-ins on the beats, and built the graphics around what he says: bars that grow as he names each flight, counters for days, orbits and miles, a versus card for 'two weeks or 45 days', a habit ring, word-by-word captions and an article-stack hook where clippings slam in around one highlighted word.

Style

Dark glass panels over the station interior, one yellow accent for the numbers, so the stats read at a glance on a phone.

Shorts from this episode

Each one opens on its payoff line and cuts out right before it, so the loop lands back on the hook. Watch one to the end.
