The pour-over here made me stop putting sugar in coffee. I didn't know it could taste like strawberries.

I order ahead every morning and it's ready the second I walk in. Same flat white, same smile, five years running.

Ember & Oak EST. 2019 open
Our room

An old joinery, a new habit.

Ember & Oak lives in a 1920s joinery workshop. We kept the oak benches the carpenters built, put a wood-fired oven where the lathe used to be and filled the shelves with beans we roast ourselves.

We pour slowly on purpose. It gives you a minute to talk to the person next to you, and gives us a minute to get your coffee right.
